Owen Wister (July 14, 1860 - July 21, 1938) was an American writer of western novels. Owen Wister was innate of silver spoon around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a total of toponym as much as Philadelphia may be traced back to the Wister personal. He attended schools inside Switzerland and Great Britain, and exposed at St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire and Harvard University, where he was an editor of the Harvard Lampoon.
